Jah Yih enterprise was established in 1979 and is headquartered in Qingshui District, Taichung City. Jah Yih produces environmentally friendly THERMOPLASTIC URETHANE (TPU) products. These TPU products are mainly used for footwear applications as well as other sportswear accessories.
Jah Yih supports sustainable efforts by providing solvent free and/or nontoxic products for no sew applications such as PU (Polyurethane)/TPU Film and TPU/EVA Hot Melt Films.
In addition to no sew options, Jah Yih has excellent lamination capabilities and is able to combine multiple layers of materials to create new and different options for stitching or no sew applications.
Jah Yih is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified since 2012.

History

2012	No-sew material with multi-layer structure - Lamitech Series developed successfully.
2010	No-sew material for apparel and footwear developed successfully.
2009	Production line of hot melt film set up finished.
2008	TPU leather – GreenLeather® developed successfully.
2007	TPU hot melt film develop successful.
2003	Established high bonding lamination department.
2002	New equipments, which allow the compounding of TPU films, are installed and a separate department for R&D is set up. In October Jah Yih receives the certification of QA Vendor from Mizuno Japan.
2000	Launches a second production line for TPU films.Certified as a QA Vendor by Nike.
1999	Is granted a patent for “Air Breath Midsold”
1998	Begins researching and the development of environmental friendly shoe materials, equipments, and introduces new production flow chart.
1991	The company is formally renamed to Jah Yih Co.,Ltd.，major in textile for footwear.
1988	Two factories in Yun lin county Taiwan accrete manufacturing goods; mainly double side tape, packing tap and single coated super-tuff.
1986	The company relocates to the current address in 396 Chung Shan Rd. At the same time the production of double side tapes and gluing have begun.
1981	The need for business expansion leads the company to move to a new location not far from the original site. Consequently more production lines have been launched to produce self-adhesive non-woven cloth and Nylon cloth.
1979	Jah Yih. Co Ltd., formerly known as Zu Yih, is formed to manufacture laminated textile products.
